The IKEA Bookbook Catalog Design

In our world of digital everything, this IKEA ad was so refreshing and hilarious! Just goes to show we can be sold on anything with just some creativity and humor.

With the release of the new iPhone 6 and 6 plus, this was extra hilarious for me. I sure do hope "bookbooks" stick around at least through my lifetime! I sure would miss the "no lag as each crystal clear page loads instantaneously no matter how fast you scroll"! Don't get me wrong,  I love technology and the new digital world, but there is just something different about turning on a light and going through the pages of a book, instead of laying in the dark zoned out on a bright screen.  Whether it is a book, a catalog or a brochure, the online experience is very different from the physical experience.

Hope you all enjoyed this as much as I did! Happy hump day :-)
